My schedule never seems to slow down, so this is a bit delayed in announcing, but, Neil Ross has two new podcasts, and in both, he’s been talking about his book Vocal Recall, which I’m just starting to reread! An insight into an amazing book… The book begins on March 23rd, 2003, just before the start of the 75th Annual Academy Awards from which Neil Ross was the co-announcer. I’m shifting from my Retro Goodies, to spotlight a special book today. It’s about a Little Owl Autism… The book shows us that it’s okay to be different, rather it’s a child that suffers from a hearing loss, needs a wheelchair, or is blind, everyone has a special ability that makes us Super! I for one was picked on as a kid, for having thick glasses. What you look like shouldn’t matter, and this amazing book proves it! It’s a must own!
Age wise… I’d say this book’s geared more towards kids 7 and up, you adults might enjoy it too though, as I have!
Lil Bro, the owl who has Autism becomes a Super Hero and saves the day! Follow the book on Facebook, for more details and to buy the book, go to www.superowl.org!
The story and art for the book is by Lester Jones.
The Collaborator of the book is my friend Steven Dodd!
