A Kickstarter for Some Amazing Art!

The title says it all! Mark Watts has put together a Kickstarter for some Amazing art, with some Amazing discounts! G1 fans will remember Mark’s art from the original box art and collector’s sheets that came with those toys! You would have also seen Mark’s art on school supplies during the 80s too! A Must See Kickstarter: Table-Art Wall Art!

Shockwave Shopifi Site copy

In 1995, I picked up my first boxed Shockwave… I was a huge fan of the art, and was thrilled to have this boxed Decepticon as part of my collection! Back then though, I never thought I’d meet the original artist behind that art. I can say I have now, and it’s both an honor and a thrill, to spotlight this talented man and his product!

Huffer Hi Rez copy

Tony’s a huge fan of Huffer, so he had to be near the top too!

Remembering a talented man…

Milt 8x10

[This beautiful piece, honoring this talented actor, was written by my good friend Mark Shaffer… Thanks for sharing Mark.]

After speaking with Milt’s brother, it is with great sadness that we announce to the Transformers community that Milt Jamin “Milton James” passed away on January 1st, 2018 due to complications of a stroke. He was 78.

Milt was born on December 7th, 1939. He grew up in Jackson Heights, New York and attended Lafayette High School in Brooklyn, NY. After High school, Milt attended Brooklyn College, part of the City University of New York public university system. Milt then went on to serve in the National Guard in 1958.

Milt’s passion as an actor gained him credits in film, anime, video games, and animation. His brother knows Milt would have loved to meet his fans. Ed told me that Milt was most fond of his role as Superman, that he was honored to voice in a commercial(s) years ago. Milt lived in Los Angeles for 26 years before returning to New York to be closer to the family.

Ed was Milt’s sole sibling, to whom he was very close. Ed was a huge supporter of his brother and took great care of him throughout his final days. Ed wanted to say thank you to everyone who loved his brother’s work.

If any fan would like to write a letter of appreciation or send fan art of Milt’s characters to his brother, I will personally deliver them to him. Please email Mark Shaffer at primetimepic83@gmail.com for more information. Thank you.

A G1 Reunion

post.jpgSurrounded by some of the most talented men I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing! Above from left to right: Neil Ross, Dan Gilvezan, Michael Bell, Jack Angel, Myself, Michael Horton, and Alan Oppenheimer!

[On a personal note… I noticed hours after this photo was taken, that I was laughing during this photo, something was said and it just set off the giggles! What it shows though is just how happy I truly was! Again a big thanks to all these men, I adore you all! Also lots of love to my friend Krissy, the founder of voice-chasers for taking this amazing picture!]

vap9Starting things off I send A BIG THANKS to Chris and Nery of [Celebworx] for offering me this chance to be a part of an AMAZING G1 Reunion! Also Lots of Love to my friend, Denise, to whom I claim as yet another sister, I wouldn’t have made the trip without her! [Above: Michael Bell, Myself and Chris!]
